Talking Transportation at the Layover

Walkers, bikers, bus riders, drivers, car sharers, and transportation professionals are invited to a special gathering at downtown’s Layover bar to discuss building a more livable Oakland with Rebecca Kaplan. Rebecca has long been a leading advocate for human-powered and alternative transportation, and will bring this vision of a healthier community to the Mayor’s office. Oakland is the regional transportation hub, and international trade powers a significant part of our economy. Hear Rebecca speak to the economic impacts of transportation in Oakland, and outline her vision for the future of the City.
